I'll bet you refuse to use socket wrenches or power tools when
maintaining your car too..... sure, plain old wrenches do the same
thing as the power tools. Why bother with productivity......

SEU is has *NOT* outlived its usefulness. I'm sorry, but the last thing
in the world that I want to do is be forced to have Micro$hit Windows
(imho, the worlds WORST operating system) installed on every PC that I
want to edit source on.

Much less have an outrageously expensive and not much more useful product
like Code/400 installed on each of these PC's

MUCH LESS BE FORCED TO EDIT MY SOURCE ON A PC!

Despite that I have access to what you might consider "better tools", SEU
is my tool of choice for writing RPG code.

I don't understand the current trend towards forcing people to use a
graphic client on a PC to do everything!! The green screen terminal
is simpler, cleaper, cleaner and far more robust!

Yet, IBM's goal seems to be to force everyone using an AS/400 to have to
have Microsoft Winblows running a PC in order to use it? To me, that just
puts us closer and closer to the day when we don't need the AS/400, and
can just use PC's. I mean, whats the point of the AS/400 if it can't do
anythign without a Windows machine anyway?
