SEU is has *NOT* outlived its usefulness. I'm sorry, but the last thing in the world that I want to do is be forced to have Micro$hit Windows (imho, the worlds WORST operating system) installed on every PC that I want to edit source on. Much less have an outrageously expensive and not much more useful product like Code/400 installed on each of these PC's MUCH LESS BE FORCED TO EDIT MY SOURCE ON A PC! Scott, I know where you are coming from - the trend towards having Windows as the *only* option for client/server computing with the AS/400 is disturbing. Having said that, I have found that there is a lot to be said for a choice of editors. (Any volunteers to write Emacs modes for RPG, CL and DDS? :) Even if development has stopped on SEU, it seems IBM were gracious enough to program extensibility into it before they left. We should probably be grateful for small mercies. -- Paul +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
