Hi Paula,

If you want to retrieve current time you can use TIME keyword in RPG.
You need to specify a result field to receive the time value.
The result field can be: 6 digit num, 12 digit num, 14 digit num, Time,
Date or Timestamp type. It's always placed in the first 6 position of the
result field with HHMMSS format.
For example:
    TIME CurTime 6 0

After that than you can move it to the field of the file that you need to
update (use timestamp type it's always easier to record the event).

Good luck and have fun.
