Here are a simple example of a batch dos file that runs any as/400 command.

You only may attention to the "Management system" if you have more than one
AS/400 on the net (in this case you only set what "Management system" you
want to refer on the PC where you run this batch from).

I think I'm going to follow up the trigger idea.
But I would like to know how your idea work's.

Can you send an example of a batch file (*.bat) using the RMTCMD.
And is it possible to send parameters with this command
