You and Simon both pointed out the C read loop.  I agree it makes for very
elegant file reading.  C is also the language that _needs_ the equivalents
of iter and leave (continue and break) to do stuff that the RPG SELECT
statement handles much more neatly.  

I dunno, nobody's perfect.
