Œ Hello Joel, It is part of PDM but you have to pay for it. It is called Application Development Manager. I have started using it again here and I like it. It works very much like the source code control system I used at IBM (IDSS). I am currently exploring it for ILE objects. I will admit that I haven't used any of the third-party CMS offerings so I can't offer comparison comments. It is extremely powerful, extendable, and has an intelligent build function but does need some thought in setting it up. Once installed you'll see extra options on the STRPDM menu for working with Projects, Groups and Parts. A project is a container for all related application items, a group is part of a PROD, TEST, DEV type hierarchy, and parts are the actual source code. Regards, Simon Coulter. «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«» «» FlyByNight Software AS/400 Technical Specialists «» «» Eclipse the competition - run your business on an IBM AS/400. «» «» «» «» Phone: +61 3 9419 0175 Mobile: +61 0411 091 400 «» «» Fax: +61 3 9419 0175 mailto: shc@flybynight.com.au «» «» «» «» Windoze should not be open at Warp speed. «» «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«» //--- forwarded letter ------------------------------------------------------- > X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.2650.21) > Date: Wed, 19 Apr 2000 15:44:51 -0700 > From: "Joel Fritz" <JFritz@sharperimage.com> > To: "'RPG400-L@midrange.com'" <RPG400-L@midrange.com> > Reply-To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > Subject: external *PRTF (was: RE: 'ILE RPG' or 'RPG IV' .
