The reason you see so little use for reusable components is because your
"building blocks" are too big.  See previous notes in this thread about
functional decomposition and you'll see what I mean.

Do you really only have one section of one program where you center the text in
a field?  Only one place where you validate a customer number? etc. etc.

PS. I don't think printer files have _anything_ to do with using them in
multiple places any more that display files do - it is just better and safer to
describe these things externally.
