(((writing, discussing or argumenting in a foreign language is like playing
piano with a boxer's gloves: that feeling is UGLY, you think the partner
may think, what a donkey you are,,,, but you know that the partner is
polite and will reply no, you are not a donkey, ,,,, ;-) )))

Hi Dan, and others who replied,

For the RPG-IV answers, (using %error and %status), I keep your advice and
find out their function during my future learning phase.

For the general or design view: reading your statements, I feel we both
mean and do in the same manner - no opposite arguments from my side. The
combination is the good way, today. A robust system requires robust
programming.

For UNIQUE: another partner suggests TIMESTAMP for files with chronological
purpose which I use sometimes, if there is chronological need (I earlier
called this a "protocol file"). -- Using the RRN (relative record number):
I use nearly never, I had no need for. Maybe the RGZPFM irritates me.

Anyway, thank you for answering so detailed!
István (piano player, red gloves)
