I'd like to retire from being an RPG programmer in 14 years. I work at a
District (Gov't job) and the benefits are really good, so I'll be able to retire
at 52. I think we should rename RPG to RET14 for Retirement in 14. Most
of the older RPGer's out there will be ready for retirement then anyway.

I think RPG needs a new name. I mean think of it. Report Program
Generator? What do people think when they find out what RPG stands
for?
"Oh so it's only good for reports."

We need a name that's more meaningful. Java is already taken. Tea is
too
weak.

If we take some letters from the RPG and DDS specs we could come up
with a
new name.

Decaf! It has a nice ring to it. And it won't keep you up at night! <g>

The logo would be a glass coffee caraf with an orange handle
superimposed
on a C-spec. <gg>

Any suggestions?
