I assume these examples not to be the best examples of the art of programming. They simply show the op-code(s) of the current topic in an example. The other statements are archaic. But haven't they to be? If i imagine myself as a RPG II programmer, fresh out of the woods, and i find the reference. I'd love to see what benefits the new or altered op-codes would bring. I think i'd be frightened if i see each and every thing explained in forms of funtction, procedures and so on.
