You could perform an override database file OVRDBF from FILEA to FILEB in the CLP program that calls the RPG. The RPG program would have FILEA defined, the CLP would override it to actually use FILEB. You could pass the file name as a parameter to the CLP, or perhaps retrieve it from an LDA. Or you could say IF COND(something) THEN OVRDBF FILEA to FILEB, else IF COND(something else) THEN OVRDBF FILEA to FILEC... etc... hope this helps!
