Michael,

Yes. To get those messages, just STRDBG before running the query (make sure you
specify UPDPROD(*YES) if you need it). Sequel's audit module can automagically
capture and save these for your Sequel views and reports. If you're on V4R4,
there's a way to specify this either system-wide or for individual runs, using a
query options file called QAQQINI. There's an article about that in the January
issue of News/400, I believe, authored by Kent Milligan if I recall correctly.

I hope this helps!

Hello all,
Could someone refresh my memory? When I run anything that uses QQQQUERY
(Sequel's, OPNQRYF, IBM query, etc), I have seen, and would like to see again, a
'log' the system creates saying things like "An access path was built over FILEA
using FIELDA. To eliminate the access path build, create a logical over FILEA
by FIELDA". The wording was something like that. I think I remember the words
"access plan" or "build plan" relating to this. Anyone have any idea what I'm
talking about ?
