Brad et al,

For the benefit of those of us unfamiliar with this could you explain what
eRPG is ?

I think the biggest learning curve for net.data or erpg programming is
learning HTML. If you don't know it, it's worth spending a few days
playing
with Notepad and building HTML to see what it can do.

I get emails wondering why so much HTML has to be used in eRPG or Net.Data.
Simple fact, it's the meat of either and must be learned.

Brad

You'd be surprised. If you cloned one of the sample scripts available at
places like ignite400 or the net.data web site, you might have something
going in a couple of hours. The direct call language environment allows
you
to hook in programs in any ILE language to do the back end work. Mind you,
this doesn't mean it would be the best tool for the job. That depends on
the scope of the project. If your HTTP server is properly configured, you
can get up and running with simple net.data scripts very quickly.
