RE: graphical display question(net.data and sockets)

You'd be surprised.  If you cloned one of the sample scripts available at
places like ignite400 or the net.data web site, you might have something
going in a couple of hours.  The direct call language environment allows you
to hook in programs in any ILE language to do the back end work.  Mind you,
this doesn't mean it would be the best tool for the job.  That depends on
the scope of the project.  If your HTTP server is properly configured, you
can get up and running with simple net.data scripts very quickly.
