Shepherd, Why would you want to check that? If you want to prevent users from directly calling a program, do just that: determine whether these users actually should have a command line, and if so, whether they should have execute rights to the program. If you really want PGMR only to be called by PGMCL, the solution is obvious: put them together in one program. Either by putting PGMR in a service program, as Leslie suggested, or by creating modules and combining the modules in one program.
