Silvio, What James suggests is almost identical to what we do here. We build a table in the program which we cycle through when the user presses f23. in the display sflctl record we place a 76 byte field to contain the text, then whenever the users presses f23 for more options we cycle to the next set of option keys. We use the same method for multiple cmd keys. I have a standard mock up of a subfile program I'd be glad to send to you if you want to see how it works. Bryan
