I ran
into the exact same thing. After trying CPYTOIMPF and writing my own, I
finally decided that I would look at what software packages were
available. I found a package by Millennium Information
Systems called "Convert to PC File". It allows any database file to be converted
to a true Excel file. It works great and is inexpensive (under $500).
If you're interested in it, send an e-mail to mailto:markdonovan@millenniumis.com.
