Title: HEX Colors
You do this by setting one of the bytes to a hex value. I do not like this for several
reasons:

o  it is not dynamic. there is no correlation between the asterisk in col 7 and the
hex character. you have to rerun some type of utility to reset all comments to
        a color.
o the line only is colored while the attribute is displayed. let's say that you store
this attribute in pos 5. RPGIV windows to col 6 by default.
o many shops use pos 1-5 for mod marks.

I would suggest looking at the RPGAlive product. I'm quite happy with it. It dynamically
marks your comments. Plus it matches your DO-ENDDO, IF-ELSE-ENDIF and
SELECT-WHEN-OTHER-ENDSL structures. It also underlines Factor1, Factor, Result,
etc fields based on the Op Code. It works in SEU, Debug, etc. It also works for
RPG/400, RPGIV and CL.

I am not affiliated with this product in any way other than being a user.

Can someone tell me how to change the color of a commented line in SEU?
