Consider yourself lucky!

My users don't call me AT ALL when they get a message. First of all,
they don't read the message or use HELP. They think of it as "that
message that has C,G,I,D,F (etc)". (Even though there are thousands
of messages that match that description) Then, they answer it with
a random choice. If that choice gets them back to the error
screen, they pick another choice until they "get their screen back".

Eventually, when a file is screwed up, or an order doesn't get
shipped, or a file is missing data, or a "printer wont print" or
something like that, they'll call.

When they call, they'll make no mention of having answered a message,
even if I specifically ask them if "anything unusual happened"

Fortunately, nobody ever signs off, so I can just check their job
log to see what happened!

(Sorry, I saw your message and just had to complain about PEOPLE)

Anyway, theres no way I can trust my users to answer things, I only
wish I was capable of anticipating everything that could go wrong
so I could eliminate this type of thing from EVER happening!
