Hi Bill, This is probably a question that is more appropriate for the Midrange-L list since it does not directly involve RPG. It sounds like you have the right idea. Have you tried it and gotten some error? One trick with using a mapped field as a key field is that key fields must be in the record format defined on the FORMAT parameter. This means you'll have to make up some DDS for a PF that includes the mapped field as one of the record fields and specify that PF as the FORMAT.
