Yes, that's for the STRPCCMD (and STRPCO). I do not know of any other function of the CWBRXD. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hartman Richard" <richard.hartman@brctsg.com> To: <RPG400-L@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2000 10:43 PM Subject: RE: CWBRXD window You say that "remote" means that the AS/400 is able to start programs on the PC, is that for the STRPCCMD then? Or do I lose a different function. I am trying to figure out if it's going to limit my uses if I uncheck the box. (I did find the box to check) Thank you, Richard > -----Original Message----- > From: Anton Gombkötö [SMTP:Gombkoetoe@ASsoft.com] > Sent: Tuesday, January 18, 2000 2:13 PM > To: RPG400-L@midrange.com > Subject: Re: CWBRXD window > > You are right, this is part of Client Access; it's the PC part of the > remote > command feature - "remote" means here that the AS/400 is able to start > programs on the PC. > > So when you do not need it (no PC program is ever started when you work on > the AS/400), > click > "Start" > "Programs" > "IBM Client Access" > "Client Access Properties" > "Remote command" > and disable the "start remote command automatically" checkbox. > > Maybe your names differ slightly; i have a german version and translated > mine. > > Best regards > -- > Anton Gombkötö > > > >>> richard.hartman@brctsg.com 01/17/00 04:48PM >>> > > > Hello, > > > > > > Does anybody have any examples on using the QWVOLAGP API?
