I believe so, the RRN is in the INFDS. On your chain/read you can define the ER indicator. If ER indicator is on, you'll be able to see which RRN is locked/errored. Regards, Jon A. I know that I could use the PSSR to display the errcde that tells me a lock is in force, but how can I retrieve the record number? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
