Hmmm... well, a few things jump into mind, tho they may not be true in releases of OS/400 past V3R2, but I would assume that they are: 1) CRTBNDxxx can't bind to a module or service program directly, you must go through a BNDDIR... 2) CRTPGM can't specify DFTACTGRP(*YES), so anything in the default activation group was done with CRTBNDxxx Other than those two things, I'm wondering why it makes any difference whether CRTBNDxxx was used, or whether CRTxxxMOD/CRTPGM was used? It seems to me that the results are the same... Hope that helps :) Paul Jackson <paulgjackson@yahoo.com> wrote: > Hello All, > > Does anyone have any idea of the best way to determine > in an ILE program was created using the CRTPGM command > as opposed to the CRTBND* commands? > > At present I feel I am resigned to looking at the > module list and assuming that if the module is from > QTEMP then the program was created using a CRTBND* > command, else it was created using the CRTPGM command. > This is not a bulletproof method, but it is all I have > at the moment. > > Any other suggestions? > > Thanks! > -Paul +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
