Re: locked file -- RPG400-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

One possibility is that the telephone file is opened somewhere in the 
job for "update/output" as opposed to input.... 

If that cannot be changed use another access path (logical file) to 
extract the information that you need.  

You can also specify "no lock" on the read statement when only 
accessing the file to retrieve the data.
