Scott - this works well but there is one problem and one addition that I would
make.  As you'll see from the version below the correct RPG IV interpretation of
"int" is a 10I (i.e.4 byte field) not 5I (2 byte). I think most times your
version will work although I'm darned if I know why! The extension I would make
involves the use of the exported field _EXCP_MSGID which on failure (indicated
by a returned value of 1 although I have "cheated" and simply tested for
non-zero) will contain the exception message Id.
