The screen you are after is a 5292 model 2. The standard 5292 is just another green screen. I don't think Client Access can handle GDDM. The problem is that the system automatically sets the device type for you. If you set it to the model you want, when you boot up Client Access, it kills off your configuration and goes back to its standard models (3179/2 for 24x80 and 3477/FC for 27/132 screens on my system). The client access we have at the moment is not particularly functional. IPDS printers is another 'non standard' function that it doesn't seem to cater for. I suppose that's the price we are expected to accept for an 'easy to use' function. (5252 ??) I cant remember exactly what it is but the manual can tell you. Its the old IBM colour screens (sometimes people think the AS400 was only green screen, this is not so) anyway the IBM colour monitors were horribly expensive, we had one I think. Some of the OLD emulators supported the colour monitor and so GDDM worked on them but u had to configure them a bit different. I have for some time tried to find an emulator in Client Access and others that supports the old colour monitors but without success as we have a graphing application done in GDDM that no one can use. The users switched to downloadind the data into MS Excel. Good luck. ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
