Weeell, When the manuals were on paper, I used to look up all the little lines to see what has changed. When we went to 4.2 and 4.3, all manuals are on I/Net or CDROM and I cant scan for the little lines. I did attend an IBM RPGIV ILE course and if they mentioned the EVAL precision stuff I cannot recall, certainly did not make a big deal of it. This new fangled manuals on soft copy needs a 'changes on softcopy' but then that wont work cause u usually need the whole page. Ah well, once bitten etc. Alan Campin <Alan.Campin@CaseLogic.com> wrote: > Hans wrote: > > >> I hope this doesn't sound rude, but how can any programmer use any > >> programming language without being intimately familiar with the > >> corresponding documentation? > > ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
