Don't you think it would be nice to have more of the fields in the file and
program data structures accessed by '*' name instead of trying to remember the
from/to positions in the data structure?

*parm is a good example. Why can't we have *rrn (relative record number), *job
(244 - 253 of PDA), *user (254 - 263 of PDA)?

Also, do we really need to code them in the data structure at all? After all, we
use *date without defining it in the data structure.
