You may want to consider changing the authority on the production library and 
the objects within that library to be *USE only for each programmer/developer 
involved - or - make ALL programmers part of a Group Profile, and make the 
authority on the PRODUCTION library and its objects *USE. 
Each method will allow the programmers/developers the ablity to read the 
sources, but they will not be able update/change/compile them
