Hi:

Hope someone out there can help me.

We have several AS400's attached to our network. The AS/400's are all at V4R3
and the network is 100mb Ethernet. IBM's Personal Communications product is
used to access these systems. (telnet 5250 sessions)

This product does not allow device naming. A random virtual device is selected
at session initialization time.

I need to be able to segment our users into different subsystems. I thought I
could do this by creating and registering an exit point program. This way I
could, based on the IP address, assign a specific virtual device and thereby
direct jobs into specific subsystems.

I went to the IBM web site and found a sample program on how to do this.
Unfortunately the example is in "C". Which is of no value to me.

Does anyone have an example program, in RPG that could help me with this.

I would really appreciate any help.

                           Thanks,
                                  Frank
