This makes sense - I don't have to like it, but it makes sense. I was thinking along the lines that the DS was 70 and not that the specific field was 10. I've solved the problem using a pointer to the DS and then defining DAYS as a stand-alone array based on that pointer. It accomplishes the original purpose.
