You should be able to use any 'C' like function which is exported by
a *SRVPGM from ILE RPG.  I say "which is exported" because some APIs
are not exported.  One example is the Socket Convert Long Integer
to Network Byte Order (htonl()) API which simply returns the input
value unchanged.  As this API is basically a noop, the C header file
simply does a '#define htonl(qso_htonl) (qso_htonl)' and the API
disappears.  From RPG you could do the same (just don't call the API)
but that's not (strictly speaking) the same as executing the function.
There are a handful of other APIs which fall into this category.
