Not to make things worse, I do hope you guys plan on improving the debugger to handle all these new capabilities... I'm not sure if it does this or not, but in your example, I hope I could place a watch point on a function name, and when the value of the function returns, be able to see the new value, without having to assign a variable to a function... Please see below.... and as for the :E thing, it kinda looks like the reade command, sorta but it might just be my PC font type. tim > -----Original Message----- > > CF KeepLooping = *ON > CF dow KeepLooping > CF read:e MasterFile > CF if %eof > CF HandleEndOfFile() [Hatzenbeler, Tim] if I typed the command EVAL Handleendoffile() would it give me the return value, if the prototype was casted with a return value. And would the same be true with EVAL %EOF would it give a 'true' '1' or 'FALSE' '0' value? > CF endif > CF enddo > > Cheers!
