If I recall correctly previous posts from Hans, a month or two ago, on
reassessment, they found that the CF spec would not really not cost all of
the $100 budget but more like 50 cents!  So, they implemented it during
lunch hour and it's now a done deal and not detracting from any other
development.  If this is correct, then why all the fuss?

If someone doesn't want to use it, they can just ignore it.  There's lots of
stuff in RPG I don't like and don't use (like dow), but that doesn't mean I
want it to go away.  It's useful once in while.  :-)
