Hans, How 'bout RPG IV 1/2 (how do you do "a half" in roman numerals?) Hey, I learned RPG 1.5 on an IBM 1130; never knew what distinguished it from RPG 1. Heck, I can't even remember what distinguised it from RPG 2! Maybe even "RPG IV Millenium". Maybe I should copyright that, eh? - Dan Bale >>ROTF!! PG-13! Great name! Seriously, I've suggested calling the language RPG V. No-one here likes the idea, and I don't disagree with their reasons. The language is steadily evolving, but I don't think anyone foresees a big change like we had from RPG III to RPG IV. I know this looks quite a bit different from traditional RPG programming, but basically, after writing a few programs using the CF-Spec exclusively, to me the language is still RPG, only better.<< * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the RPG/400 Discussion Mailing List!
