  • Subject: Sort Sequence on a LF
  • From: JFinney@xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi All

I posted this question I'm about to ask on the NG but had no answer
(perhaps a silly question but it's got me !)

My pgm is reading through a LF and the data within the character field
(which is the key) is automatically being sorted :

a, A, 1, 10, 200, 21, etc . . .

Question : How can I change this sort sequence to sort :

*blanks, a, A,1, 10, 21, 200 ?

For those of you who use Lotus123, I seem to remember the Russian sort
sequence being the one which produces the result
I would like on the AS/400. Is there a sort sequence which would provide
this result and, if so, how do I implement it ?

Regards
John.
