Here is a piece of code you might like:  (RPGLE)

  D@OrRecord        S               *   Inz(*Null)
  DOrRecord       E DS                  ExtName((PFile)) Prefix(OR_)
  D                                     Based(@OrRecord)


Notice that thisis a data structure.  It can be used to fill a parm and
the parm will look like the record.
