SPLTOOL (Spooled file tools) may do what you want. It has a front end like
WRKSPLF/WRKOUTQ and one of the options is to copy to a database file.

It also lets you set up user options that you may be able to do this with
too, if the option provided isn't exactly what you needed. (It prompts for
a filename on each spooled file).

It does have batch commands for copy to IFS, folder and FTP, though, so you
can bypass the front end screen. Only problem there is you can't name the
files since it's a batch command. They automatically get a job/user/name
filename with the extension you provide. It will, though, let you perform
this option on an entire outq, or by user data or user name or *ALL for any
of them.

You can get it at:

Subject: Copy Spool Files to Database Files

Hi All,

I apologize in advance; I know this issue has been discussed before (and may

not even be the proper place to post this thread). However, does anyone
know of a routine I can get my hands on that will read the entries in an
outq listing and copy the actual spool files to a database file of my own
choosing? I could write something, but I'm certain it's been done before
(and better too).
