Unless all the screens are the same on your site don't waste your time. They are hard to master, hard to do, take a lot of time to get right, and don't work the same way on all screens. Scroll bars are effective, and pushbuttons can be made to act like radio buttons, but beyond that my experiences were frustrating and non-productive.
