This thread pops up frequently.  Go to http://www.midrange.com and search
the archives for "Pass parameter"  I'm sure you'll get some advice from
there.  If I remember, you create the query as usual, except that your
record selection looks like "FIELD EQ :parm"  Then, run STRQMQRY
ALWQRYDFN(*YES) SETVAR((&PARM 'your value')).

An alternative is simply to use SQL through Query Management Query.  Search
the archives for Query Management...
