Hi Thayur

An easy way to achieve this is :

1. Open Notepad.exe from Win95/NT.
2. Press space bar 5 times.
3. Press the ALT button while typing 0192 ( You should end up with the
ASCII symbol

À) then type some text directly after that.
4. Save the file and copy it to the IFS (ie. QDLS/MYFOLDER) using windows
explorer
5. Use the CPYFRMPCD command to copy it to a member within a source file on
the AS/400.
6. Open it using PDM or whatever you use and the text should be white (if
you are using Client Access or something similar).

Once you have got this down to an art, try ALT + 0193 ----> (Check against
the character map in windows CHARMAP.EXE) and different colours can be
obtained.

Regards
John.
