How are you defining your binary fields? Have you looked at the layouts for the API's in QSYSINC? -----Original Message----- From: JFinney@omnia.co.za [mailto:JFinney@omnia.co.za] Sent: Tuesday, May 18, 1999 7:04 AM To: RPG400-L@midrange.com Subject: Simple List API Example Hi All Firstly, I posted a question a while back pertaining to API's and a loop which, to me, didn't seem to be working. Thanks Doug! your solution worked like a charm. Also thanks a lot to Bruce Vining for the extra information with respect to the header info. There were quite a few replies of which I never got around to reading since, by then, my prblem was solved. Thanks a lot anyway! I am however struggling with another problem which I have previously posted (and received valid feedback). The problem, quite simply, is how to retrieve binary information from the user spaces into a field(char or num) in an RPGLE pgm. If anyone could perhaps provide a simple working example for me to refer to it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance John. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the RPG/400 Discussion Mailing List!
