Hi Buck,
    I've seen this happen many times.  The DDS to create your logical file has
no errors and the logical is created without a problem . . . but when the
final step is taken, adding the member, an error occurs because of your
duplicate key field and the unique keyword, so adding the 'member' is what is
failing and causing the create job to end in error.  If set you job's logging
level to 4, 0, seclvl and recompile the file you should be able to see this
noted in the job log.
