Locking multiple records -- RPG400-L

× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Hi,

is it possible to lock more than one record in a file?

I need an indicator that these records are in use and can't be used by another 
job. But I do 
not want to write some data in that file to indicate this because if my program 
fails they 
are locked forever...
