Rajeev,

Condition the subfile with  SFLNXTCHG. When you load the subfile, save the RRN 
in
a hidden field on the subfile record format. Then READC the subfile (you will 
end
up reading all the records in the subfile) until  EOF. Check the value of the
field you are interested in, use the RRN from the hidden field.
