This is a system file of some kind, in QSYS. Apparently used by a dspxxx to an outfile They ran a rclstg, no help. I had the client rnmobj, then try the operation again...just to see what would happen. same error, referencing the renamed file. This seems to imply that I'd have a problem simply restoring the file from another system. What I really want to know is "What is this file, if anyone knows??" If it's a document of some kind, then the rcldlo may work I doubt they have a good savsys...
