Sheppherd

I would like to make more clear to my question by setting one example.

The DSPLOG(QHST) command shows all the information about the operation
of the system and system status. The display contains the messages sent
to the log, the date and time the message was sent, and the name of the
job that sent it.
This information is written into a database file when a job enters into
any subsystem. The system set trigger to write the information about the
job into the database as soon as the system come to know that a job just
entered into a subsystem.

Now, my question is how to know that a job just entered into the
subsystem, it may be QBATCH or QINTER or both, so that I can set a
trigger (or the system can trigger) my program to execute or do some
other operation.

Please revert me any query regarding this.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
