Re: cannot recompile

You probably have logical file(s) over the physical file. dspdbr SECTIONS
will tell you what they are. delete the logicals then try again. you might
want to consider using chgpf with the source member for the physical file.
with some restrictions this will prevent having to copy your data as a
compile deletes the data.
