RE: Using a display file in a batch environment

A technique I have used in the past........

        Clone the interactive program.  If called by a CL program, use RTVJOBA 
to determine when the CALL is going to be batch vs.
interactive.  If batch, CALL the batch version. Modify the batch version to 
receive it's input from your data base file instead of
from a display screen.  Any reference to a display device, normally is not done 
in a batch type program, since there is no display
attached to the job.
