  • Subject: does overwriting an old dspf matter when making a new one?
  • From: mohammad khan <mohammadakhan@xxxxxxxxx>

hi folks,

i have a question.

an interactive pgm. i
wrote does not show me
the output read from
the pf.

i mean, i type in a #
and a related rec. to
that screen appears on
the next scrn. w/the
detail.

only instead of a detail
i seem to be getting
zeros by the numeric
fields and nothing next
to the alphanumeric fields.

i don't understand why this
is. could it be b/c I copied the
entire dspf from a different
dspf and slightly
modified it? and that whenever i
specify the database fields,
the 'old' default values
appear and must be changed every
time you specify database fields?

this is quite weird. appreciate
any advice.

regards,

Mohammad
